As a Senior Data Specialist in our Cryptocurrency Department, Chris Murray programs solutions to improve the efficiency of our crypto tax return process.

The first step of a bulletproof crypto tax return is transforming disorganized data from several sources into one clean transaction history. Chris has helped automate key parts of this process, improving the efficiency of our crypto tax work. He also works directly on some of our most complex crypto tax clients, including HNWIs and blockchain businesses.

Originally from Madison, Chris earned his bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. He started investing in Ethereum and getting into cryptocurrency in its early days, which sparked his desire to work in the crypto industry. Ethereum even helped him pay for school.

Chris enjoys working closely with cutting-edge blockchain technology and helping the team solve complex accounting challenges. Outside the office, he enjoys playing classical guitar.
