Frequently asked questions

The filing deadline depends on your business structure:

  • S Corporations and Partnerships (Forms 1120-S and 1065): March 15

  • C Corporations (Form 1120): April 15

  • Sole Proprietorships and Single-Member LLCs (reported on your personal Form 1040 with a Schedule C): April 15

If needed, we can file for an extension—but remember, an extension to file is not an extension to pay. Let us help you plan ahead and avoid late fees or penalties.

It depends on your entity type:

  • Sole Proprietorship: Report business income and expenses on Schedule C (attached to Form 1040)

  • Partnership: File Form 1065, plus issue K-1s to each partner

  • S Corporation: File Form 1120-S, with K-1s to shareholders

  • C Corporation: File Form 1120

  • LLC: It varies—LLCs can be taxed as sole proprietorships, partnerships, or corporations

Not sure which applies to you? We’ll guide you through the right filing path based on your structure and ensure everything is handled accurately and on time.
